We believe that strong ownership in relation to compliance and ethics at all levels is vital to our ability to manage and mitigate integrity risks. Clean Cooking Madagascar also require a high ethical standard of all our suppliers, sub-contracted partners, project partners and other stakeholders in projects supported by us.

ANTI-CORRUPTION

Corruption exists, to varying degrees, in all countries and markets. It is especially important for Clean Cooking Madagascar to continuously assess corruption levels

Clean Cooking Madagascar has a zero tolerance policy in regards to corruption, and we can contribute to fight corruption, through systematic and responsible business conduct.

MANAGING INTEGRITY RISKS

A business relationship with a potential counterparty must only be established or amended if the particular relationship satisfies our ethics requirements. We practice strict requirements for managing integrity risks in our business relationships, and we screen new investments, partners, contractors and suppliers for integrity violation and human rights violation risks.

Our principles for good business ethics are expressed in Clean Cooking Madagascar Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct outlines the expectations we have both for Clean Cooking Madagascar’s employees and our business partners.

The objective is to apply ethics and integrity principles in practical issues faced by our employees and partners.

Clear guidelines, realistic training and practice will enable our employees and business partners to make sound ethical decisions.
